Alumni Commitment Award - Jeff Kimble
Jeff Kimble, ’85,
supports CMU through his involvement with the BCA Alumni Advisory Board, the BCA Alumni Constituent Chapter, and the WMHW Radio Alumni Takeover at homecoming.
He works as the principal technical sales engineer for New Skies Satellite Inc. in Washington, D.C. Since his graduation from CMU, he also has worked for other satellite and communications companies, including the Discovery Channel.
Twice a year Jeff flies to Michigan to give presentations to classes and to participate in the BCA Alumni Advisory Board meetings.
He was one of the charter members of the BCA Alumni Constituent Chapter, and he developed and maintains the chapter Web page.
In addition to the alumni activities, Jeff played an active role in helping CMU rewrite the curriculum for the new technologies portion of a 300-level Broadcast and Cinematic Arts course.
