“As company commander, I help juniors get ready for summer camp and train freshmen on basic military customs and courtesies and drills.”

After graduation he’ll be:
A lieutenant in the Army Medical Service Corps.

A senior looking forward to graduation next August.

The funny guy who loves a good practical joke.

The relevance of college classes following the gravity of his military experiences.

Deployments:
Security and public safety duty at Metro Detroit Airport; checkpoint operations in Egypt, monitoring the Camp David Peace Accords between Egypt and Israel; infantryman based in Habbaniyah, Iraq, conducting raids and patrols and area stabilization.

How he got a Bronze Star for Valor:
“When an Iraqi army convoy was ambushed, I ran through machine gun fire and small arms fire to help pull six Iraqi soldiers to safety. Then I led my team back and drove off the enemy attack.”
