Prominent guests

Gen. Wesley Clark visited campus one day this spring to meet with honors students in an afternoon class and give a public presentation in the evening. The retired U.S. Army general and 2004 Democratic presidential candidate’s visit was part of CMU’s Speaker Series. Clark was one of a handful of prominent speakers to visit campus during spring semester. Another was Pulitzer prize-winning author and historian David McCullough, author of 1776, John Adams, and Truman.
