My resolution

I treasure the moments at the end of one year and beginning of another. My favorite time of year begins with Thanksgiving, a time to be grateful. Then follows a month of holiday celebrations, ending with the hope and promise of a new year.

In the alumni relations office, we are grateful for the events that allow us to meet so many wonderful alumni, and we hope the future holds renewed friendships.

This year, one of my New Year’s resolutions is to reconnect with people who made a difference in my life at CMU. If your resolutions are broken by now – or already accomplished – maybe you’ll want to join me in my resolution to connect with old friends. It takes only a few minutes to write a note or send an e-mail message. Time and distance are not significant. What is important is that someone from your past will know you care.
