Alumni Commitment Award - Kevin Campbell

Kevin Campbell, ’74 MA ’76, has been a longtime supporter of CMU and the broadcast and cinematic arts department.

He is a senior information specialist at Dow Corning Corp., where he has worked since 1979. He belongs to a number of professional associations, including the Communications Media Management Association and the ITVA Saginaw Valley Chapter.

Kevin has given his financial support to the broadcast and cinematic arts department, and he has served as a guest lecturer and resource person on new and multimedia technologies. He has helped give News Central broadcasting students real-world experiences, including covering Dow Corning Corp. disaster drills.

He is a charter member of the BCA Alumni Advisory Board and the BCA alumni chapter, and he also serves on the CMU Alumni Board.

Kevin’s nominator for the award wrote, “By every benchmark, Kevin Campbell epitomizes what the Alumni Commitment Award was created to recognize. His service to CMU over the past quarter century has been continuous and multifaceted.”
